Cripes, this took longer than I thought! Finally I've been able to repair that awefully chubby Freedom Gundam 3D piece that I made here. It wasn't "bad" but it wasn't all that great either. Anyway, so I've made this freedom so that it would match the strike. I'll wait for any good renders (as usual) until after the Archangel support ship is complete. Then I'll howl away. Almost 33%more polygons in this one too - mostly to make the leg frame.

PS - sorry for the crappy composite. I'm on a crappy workstation at work). :(

Software: Lightwave 8.3 (modelling/ rendering), Macromedia Freehand (logos).

Edit: The stance has been changed.
The bad image edit has been fixed.
The background and credits are altered (though the author is the same... me :D)

This is very nice. From afar, I thought it was a Real grade model kit. XD

oh no, I have to make critical comments to SANDRUM?! *Sigh* Well, it looks a little too thin, almost like it will break, and its pose just seems really, really odd, stickin' its crotch out for the world to see...or hit. (OOOOOWWW!!) The logo on the wing doesn't make much sense, seeing as it will get cut in half when the wings open. The shoulder armor is just...don't get me started. I'm sorry to be a naysay, but not your best work. Now that you have Strike Freedom done, you can sorta look back at Freedom and fix some stuff so it resembles both Strike and S. Freedom, but right now it's not looking so good.

Sorry if I upset you. It's still alright, on par with some of Ssjellenrad2's work, but I think it could've been better.

P.S. The wording of the logo on the wings is beautiful, it matches Strike Freedom's Liberta Modificia. (or something like that, I can't remember anything too well anymore.)

Since this is opinion, I won't strike it down. But some parts make other look smaller because of the way I scaled them. The head is quite large compared to the body which I've fixed over time. This deviation was almost 2 years ago so I've been able to fix some things since then. It:s actually not thin at all and the strike freedom's legs were started from the legs of this freedom mesh. They're pretty close to the same size at finish. It's very likely that the combination of camera setting/stance/and angle contributed to the thin-looking appearance. The wings dont split off between the black and blue sections so the logo does not split (see this [link]). The shoulder armor I've not met with any problems since this deviation. As it is, I'm fairly happy with the way the mesh came out, but I do appreciate your input.

no offense, you might want to work on the head a little. change the eye color a little, it looks like its part of the Gundam's forehead armor.
