OK, here's another one (it's like a 3D marathon) I didn't display until now. I originally got done with the Impulse gundam back in May 2005. But again since I knew I was going to upgrade freedom, I waited until I got freedom before I return to this.....

That said, I STILL haven't returned to it and it remains as you see above. The 3D model was derived from the HG models of the same name (except the Blast, which only came in a zero grade). It was a bit of a pain to turn 3d as the systems had to not only fit to the Gundam just right, but had to make room for the tiny Core Splendor plane that the pilot actually sits in.

The model is fully capable of splitting into the basic parts: Core Splendor, Chest Flyer, Leg Flyer, Silhouette Flyer + (Blast, Force, Sword) Silhouette. The problem is that I haven't changed it to reflect the changes I made for the Freedom Gundam, the biggest being open movement of the arms and legs and an inner frame and more "armor-like" textures. Right now, the polygons are all for the armor on the outside as it's completely hollow on the inside. I hope to get this upgraded over the summer (after my various commissions) if I can, especially the little flyer on the side, as I forgot to color it (its not supposed to be completely white ).
